The popular Grab Gape is now getting a heavy wire cousin. Much like the Czech Nymph hook, we upped the wire gauge considerably on this hook. As a result, you'll have much more confidence when playing big fish when using it. This fantastic hook model is the perfect match for when you’re tying low-water emergers, dries and nymphs alike. You’ll be blown away with this hooks ability to hook and hold fish of every size, even in the small size 20. As with our other barbless hooks, this will be available in black nickel. Some ideas for patterns you can tie with this hook: • Perdigons, Pheasant Tails and general purpose nymphs • Emergers and Wet Flies • Dries

QTY (50) per pack.

Great hooks to tie on

These are great hooks to tie on and they grab well on fish. I particularly love the gap and the eye.

Great Thick Hook

Tied up some awesome egg and orange blob patterns for my Ohio steelhead trip coming up this spring.

Good hooks

The above hooks are well made, sharp perfect for soft hackles cuz they are not going to bend or break, and a larger hook gap.

Great hook, very much like TMC 2488H, and while there are uses for a 6 mm hook..

I'm new at this, but I've seen midge adults 1 cm long on my waders in winter. Adults are smaller than their emerger. The adult on my wader (a std 16) is smaller than its emerging self (a std 14) . To tie a std size 14 emerger with this 3XS hook use an 8. A size 20 FM 5027 (std size 26) emerger would be for a std size 28 adult. I think.
