What could possibly be done to improve the Rainbow Warrior’s effectiveness?
Add a magic natural material like CDC, of course. The CDC version is more “buggy”, and offers enhanced movement while keeping the established color scheme. Though you could indicator nymph, Euro nymph, or tight line the CDC Rainbow Warrior, I particularly love this pattern as a dropper below a dry. With a tungsten head it gets down well, is flashy enough to pique the interest of Trout, and has an extra buggy seductive CDC soft hackle for added movement. -- Lance
