Egan's Purple Thread Frenchie

Thread Frenchie’s are an established producer, and already available in a few color combinations. I recently released a new version of a black Thread Frenchie. This is the same pattern platform in a purple color. Still a dense, durable, fast sinking nymph perfect to hang below a dry fly, fish under an indicator, or enable a euro rig to get down to where the fish live. The contrast between the purple body, silver wire and pearl hotspot ensures an easily seen pattern that Trout can't resist. Since there are no purple midges or mayflies, this variation has to be considered a pure attractor pattern. That said, it’s dark enough to pass as a midge or small dark mayfly.
