Stoneflies are bottom dwelling pieces of protein that fish love to gorge on. Because of where they live, there are many snags and it’s common to break a few off while fishing them. The chewy stone is designed to be a quick tie so you won’t be so bummed out when you donate flies to the fish gods. The best part of this fly is that it looks way harder than it really is. Tie and match them to your local waters.
