Henry's Fork

It is a blustery week, but BWOs, March browns and midges are making for good top water fishing during periods of low wind. With longer evenings and good overhead cover, streamer fishing is good. Don’t to be shy about pitching a rubber leg pattern especially during dwindling light conditions.  We are in run-off season, but it is worth remembering that the Henry’s Fork is not subject to the high volume found in the Fall and Teton Rivers. Only Robinson Creek of its major upstream tributaries is subject to high country run-off (drains the west side of the Madison Plateau in Yellowstone Park).
