Henry's Fork

Bug season is here!  They mess up your windshields, love your flies and ears, reduce the supply of windshield washing fluids, and plug your filters. Goldens are beginning to appear, good place to begin is Riverside campground.  Box Canyon bugs will peak soon.  Mayflies with PMDs, drakes and lesser ones will be out.  Caddis are in bloom everywhere. Flow through Box Canyon lower at around 375 cfs and will vary. 

Remember, using hard bottom boats down the Lower Mesa Falls slide is illegal. Only such as rubber rafts & pontoon boats are legal, but this means fewer folks fishing this section of the river on down to Warm River.  BTW: Say goodbye to the Fun Farm Bridge. It’s gone to be replaced by a new two lane bridge.
