Henry's Fork
Henry’s Fork Foundation’s scientists predict that major aquatic insect hatches will take place early this year because of low flows and higher than normal water temperatures. How much earlier depends on how temperate spring is. Fishing between Ashton and Chester Dams is very good with BWO and March brown mayflies and midges providing responses from trout throughout the water column. Caddisflies are also appearing. Flow below Ashton Dam is about 950 cfs and about 1300 cfs at St. Anthony. There are also plenty of wading and boating anglers present.
