Henry's Fork
Cooler weather will slow the advance of giant and golden stoneflies upstream. It will also reduce the number of these insects flying. However, trout are now aware of their presence, so dry patterns will remain effective. Do not overlook presenting caddis life cycle patters on slower sections of the river. The recent cool weather has dropped water temperatures to levels more suitable for trout in most of the river. Flow at Box Canyon is about 285 cfs, below Ashton Dam is about 950 cfs and about 900 cfs at St. Anthony cfs.
