Henry's Fork
Flow through Box Canyon is about 655 cfs and is likely to vary season long. Right now in the upper river, water temperatures are ideal for development of recently hatched trout.
Lately fishing from Ashton Dam down to Chester Dam is about the best in the area. Right now a few adults are on bankside vegetation, but the peak is yet to come as warming weather shows up. Below Chester Dam the Fall River inflow of cold, discolored water compromises the good fishing above the dam. The recent rains & snow along the upper river has improved the fishing outlook for early in the upcoming season.
