Henry's Fork
Calm overcast days are best for dense PM BWO emergences at Last Chance where their life cycle patterns and those of midges give good top water fishing. A few PMDs are on the water, but their peak is days away. Peak of big stonefly numbers has passed the Box Canyon but trout there will key on patterns for them presented along banks. More stoneflies are active in the Coffee Pot area. Still a few green drakes are on the river below Ashton Dam with PMDs becoming significant. Best time to fish is late AM to afternoon hours. Evening caddis activity is ongoing throughout the river. Watch for grey drakes coming from the river above Chester Dam. Flow at Box Canyon is about 600 cfs, below Ashton Dam is about 1400 cfs and about 1050 cfs at St. Anthony
