Henry's Fork
Flow through Box Canyon is about 850 cfs. Try dead drifting streamer patterns during low light conditions, or hopper patterns along bank side water. River in Last Chance-Harriman reach is mossy and offers very technical daytime fishing. Indicator fishing is a good choice and trico spinners appear early in the day. Diminishing PMDs and isoperla stone flies are present. Be sure to have honey ant, beetle, and hopper patterns in that fly box.
Some discolor reigns from Island Park Dam to Ashton Reservoir because of low, warm water in Island Park Reservoir. Below Warm River confluence, river is tough fishing all the way to Chester Dam. Try terrestrial insect patterns in soft water in front of rocks and boulders. Terrestrial insect patterns presented close to banks can be effective. Evening caddis hatches makes that time of day a good fishing experience. 1250 cfs is flow below Ashton Dam. There are early AM spinner falls. Chester Dam road is re-opened. The warm water conditions are unlikely to change much until September.
