Henry's Lake

Trout are mainly in shallow water and fishing is good. Wade fishing is very productive compared to  trolling or casting from a boat. The State Park is open for launching watercraft and wading but closed to camping. Cutthroat trout move parallel to shores in schools. Creek mouths remain the best locations to encounter brook trout. Be aware that Henry’s Lake is downright treacherous during windy times. We lost two anglers last weekend.
