Main Stem Snake River
The outflow from Palisades Reservoir impacts fishing in the river down to American Falls Reservoir. Be careful wading. Are you fishing from a boat? Know where irrigation diversions are located and wearing a life jacket is a smart move. Streamer and wooly bugger patterns presented using sink-tip lines and stout tippets give best chances for action. Flow below American Falls Dam is around 8000 cfs.
