Streamer, balanced leech, and wooly bugger patterns presented on sink tip lines are the best ways for action almost anywhere on the river. Midge activity is ongoing up and down the river, and their life cycle patterns produce action during wind free times. Most boat launch locations are open, and walk- in locations are numerous. Flow below American Falls dam is about 230 cfs.
