Small Streams

IDF&G has placed a fish salvage order on nearly all canals in the Upper Snake and Southeast Idaho regions. A valid fishing license is required for conducting salvage activities. Restrictions and legal gear definitions can be found on the IDF&G web site. Realize that many canals are bordered by private land although canal banks are not. Warm River around the campground and Teton River in the Hog Hollow area have BWO and midge hatches are ongoing and roads to these are in good shape. Consider checking upcoming weather when going to any high country small stream.
