Small Streams

Nearly all USGS flow gages on our small streams are free of ice.  With warmer springtime air temperatures arriving most snow below 7000 ft in elevation is gone meaning low land run-off has peaked. Warm River around the campground hosts a good BWO hatch during wind free afternoons.  Birch Creek is open and through use of traditional nymph and midge life cycle patterns offers good fishing.
