Small Streams

With warmer weather arriving, high country run-off will impact Fall and Teton River drainages and Robinson Creek and therefore the lower Henry’s Fork. The Blackfoot River below the dam is relatively high with irrigation water (about 600 cfs) making effective wading difficult. The river above the reservoir does not open to fishing until July 1st.  Runoff in the Fall River drainage has peaked, but is yet to do so in the Teton River drainage. Birch Creek in the family fishing and upstream springs remains the best location for great family fly fishing action in the area. The upstream Little Lost River drainage is in the run off stage.
