We will remain in the “winter maintenance flow” regime below Palisades Dam, throughout the winter. Streamer fishing remains the best way to fish the river.  Brown trout are still migrating, so presenting these patterns around overhead cover, late in the day, or during unsettled weather is the best way to attract them.  Be aware that Federal Agencies will soon limit motorized access to parts of the river that reach land vital for wintering big game.
