Salmon flies have been spotted on section 4, so now is the time to break out your big foam bugs! The best strategy will be to launch boats above their appearance and drift down to where they are active.

Flow out of Palisades Dam has been flat at around 12700 cfs for several days. The same with downstream gages (about 12300 cfs, at Heise, 5500 cfs at Lorenzo).  So no significant change. Palisades Reservoir is about 95 % full. There is a bit of top water fishing from Lorenzo downstream thanks to early season caddis and isoperla activity.
