Southwestern Montana

Southwestern Montana has had a relatively dry winter much like ours.  The Madison River, which is quite accessible around Baker’s Hole Campground, is producing good fishing when streamer patterns are presented. Below Reynolds Junction, fishing is good with rubber leg and San Juan worm patterns  drifted along stream bottoms and midge life cycle patterns are producing good results for fly fishers.
