Salmon Flies are on the river above Ennis. Low flows could end soon, but run-off is ahead in some places along the upper river. Evening caddis are around in this part of the river. So are PMDs and isoperla stones. Big nymphs wooly bugger types, and streamers are the name of the game with stonefly nymphs moving toward banks in the boat –free water down to the West Fork. The Gallatin River is still high and discolored. Midges are providing good fishing as well as are streamers on Hebgen Reservoir.
