Still Waters

Springfield Reservoir is one of the few local still waters that does not totally ice over. You will need a motorless flotation device to fish it. Midge life cycle patterns at the taking depth bring responses from rainbow trout ranging to trophy sizes. No bait and barbless hooks are required. Trout under 20 inches must be released.
