Still Waters
Road conditions and weather are important considerations when traveling to many still waters now. Midge pupa patterns suspended under an indicator are effective for action almost everywhere. Leech, scud, small nymph, streamer, and fly rod jig patterns round out the number of patterns that should be in your fly box when visiting any still waters. Any of our higher elevation still waters could begin icing over soon.
