Roadside Hawkins Reservoir in Bannock County is stocked with hatchery rainbows, and fishing is OK. Try midge pupa and damselfly nymph patterns under an indicator at the taking depth.   To get there, drive west at the Virginia Exit off I-15. The road from Hawkins Reservoir for access to Daniels Reservoir is open but muddy in places.  Same for Twenty-Four Mile Reservoir. Mackay Reservoir is ice free but not wind free. Most irrigation reservoirs in southeast Idaho have been stocked with hatchery rainbow trout.
