Still Waters
Cooler weather and fewer daylight hours will bring trout into shallow waters to forage in nearly all our still waters. Midge activity will be important for this activity. Thus midge pupa patterns suspended under an indicator will be a very effective way to fish. The taking depth must be found. Leech and scud patterns will also become more effective in shallow water.
