Biot Soft Hackle

As much as I love to push the boundaries of fly tying, there is also a part of me that loves to tie really simple classic flies. Soft hackles are usually very simple, sparse, and super effective. This fly really doesn't need much introduction so I'll keep it brief, but as far as fishing applications, you should swing it, drop it off of a dry fly, nymph it, fish it in lakes, etc. etc...
