Black Mirage Zebra Midge
Cheech - June, 2019
The Zebra Midge is a staple fly for pretty much any tailwater, and here in Utah you can catch fish on them any time of year. This fly is one that we learned from the Fulling Mill catalog, and it seems like such a simple addition to a zebra midge, but I have to admit that I wouldn't have thought to tie in the flash how they did. It's one of our top selling midges in the shop, so we decided to tie one up on video. Mix up the colors, coat them with resin, add gills for a chironomid pattern, etc. This one just plain works.
