Ice Dub is a great dubbing with awesome movement and a subtle, yet attractive, flash added. This is one of our favorite dubbings. The UV Black color is what we use in the popular Chimera Fly Pattern. We're pretty sure the secret to its success is this specific dubbing.
This dubbing is great for small midges all the way up to large streamers. It can easily be dubbed onto thread for small bodies, or it adds bulk to a streamer by tying it in "loop style." Created by John Rohmer AKA "The Godfather of Dubbing" this material has been in the works for well over a year, and has caught many fish for us already. In John's words, "I don't make stuff that doesn't catch fish." We agree 100%.
The ultimate dubbing spinnner. Developed directly as a co-op with Loon, the Gator Grip Dubbing Spinner includes two tips for any spinning scenario a tyer might encounter from complex twists to dubbing loops. The octagonal anti-rolling technology ensures that the tool stays put on the tying desk, while the ring shape allows for smooth consistent tension while palmering.
This hook has a nice round bend and excellent point for holding fish. Also goes down one size smaller than the Hanak 400s. Expect the same great quailty you get from every Hanak hook. Extra-long inward-pointing needle point, medium wire, black nickel, barbless. 25 per pack
Using similar techniques as with Nano Silk we extruded thin Polyester strands which were then slightly twisted and had a light amount of wax added to them. The amount of wax added has been specifically applied after consultations with top Professional Fly Tyers.
With the lightly twisted strands this allows the thread to both lay flat and split easier than other threads on the market. Having reviewed the market offerings we also added 8/0 to the range and included fluorescent colors along with the traditional colors desired.
