Tungsten Bodies

Tungsten bodies are a great way to add more weight into your flies by incorporating the weight into the overall body shape. The weights have a slit that will sit on the hook shank. You tie the body onto the hook and, if desired, can expose the "head" as a bead to build up to a nice tapered body shape.

This through hole slotted tear drop bead is a great way to add weight and body to a fly. 28 beads per pack. Each bead is designed to slide onto the hook rather than sit on top of the hook, centering the weight on the hook and creating a more realistic body profile. These body beads are available in raw unfinished tungsten only.
