Good service
OK, I do love the stuff, but, it has an issue!
I agree, treat the fly first, right on the tying desk, or out of the shop, while the temperature is still warm, let it dry.
My flying room is a brisk 61 degrees, cold but peaceful. I cracked open my bottle and it looked like petroleum jelly. It applied like a super thick jell. See picture.
The good news is that when I took the bottle upstairs that the gel turned to water like liquid.
So, do not think it is a suitable option on the stream, unless you are a warm water angler. Still, if you treat it first, let it dry, great stuff.
This has quickly turned into my favorite fly floatant, works well on everything and it will even float water-logged flys after catching many fish. I have tried most floatants and this is my favorite by far.
