The Fly Puck Holder has a Velcro hook-backed, closed-cell foam platform and retains fly pucks (and even spools up to 10wt!) via mil-spec woven elastic. Even though it was specifically designed around the dimensions of a Fishpond fly puck (shown), we've tested it with a wide variety of fly pucks we've picked up along the way and they all work well. As previously noted, we've even stowed spare spools in our Frontier packs with this holder and it's solid. Made in USA.
