Hareline Starling Skin

The Starling Skin I purchased was a bit of a disappointment. The skinning of the carcass was uneven, was in two pieces, may have been from two or more different birds and greasy..Washing the skin with shampoo required multiple attempts to clean the feathers of the grease My suggestion to Hareline would be to grade the skins and print the grading ton the label. Maybe this is a grade #3 vs #2 vs #1. Maybe the pricing was right but I wasn’t sure the cost reflected the value. My next purchase of Starling will be from another supplier. I was pleased with the service I have received a Fly Fish Food and found the issue to be on the distributor
