Good weight in the hand. Balances well. Easy tension adjustment. Doesn’t break thread.

If I had one negative it’s that it’s slow to change thread, but I don’t change thread often so I don’t care.

Will buy more.

It’s a very sturdy piece and I like its heft. It works well with heavier thread, allowing you to really crank down while spinning deer hair. Its a very high quality piece of tying equipment

This has to be the finest made bobbin I've ever tied with. Nice amount of weight to hold material in place with fewer wraps. The tension is easily adjustable and you can also tye with it removed. I'm going to buy another
