Unusable (Too Narrow, and Already Splitting/Slivering in Package)

For a long time I've been under the impression Fulling Mill was a guarantee of quality. These quills are extremely narrow, as other reviews state. Sometimes they go from near hair-width, to very narrow for about an inch, and then somehow back to near hair-width. Many of the quills have splinters and spurs hanging off the edges, like a hangnail. If you pull on one of the splinters, the quill splits. From a package I was able to salvage 3, and only for size 18's. Terrible.

When I opened the Package I was quite disappointed, the quill are very thin and barely fit for size 18 and under flies. I expected a better selection of the quill selected for this type of application.

Don’t buy for larger than 18

Been hard to get polish quills so I got some of these. Will stick with polish quills or try another brand. Love Fulling Mill products but this one did not meet my expectations.
