I’ve been looking for the right pack for years! I have at least one of every type made. None of them had the bells and whistles I was looking for. Finally a pack that has it all. This pack was well thought out when it was designed. The ability to choose what you want on the back is huge. The quality of the chest pack is awesome. Well made, perfect size and priced right. The perfect combination. I highly recommend this chest pack. If you’re picky and hard to please, it’s for you.

Took a flight from SoCal to visit the shop, grabbed selfie with Cheech and Lance, bought some gear, fished The Green. The Umpqua ZS2 Overlook 500 has met and exceeded my expectations. Now I see why this system works for so many other anglers. The only downside is now having the capacity to hold all the heavy stuff my wife doesn't want to lug around.

I thought I knew what I wanted but it took trying several different options of packs and ended up figuring out I liked having a fly box in my front wader pocket. So a knowledgeable guy at Jimmys in Idaho Falls (flyfishfood) used this pack and sold me on it as the ultimate chest pack. Love it. I also use the umpqua waist belt as the slot for the net is so much easier to grab with my short arms. Good luck!!

Can store a full days worth of flies, rain jacket, two italian subs, AND the goldbond powder. Plus the camo keeps you out of the fishes peripheral vision (its better than ours)

Love this! After putting up with the sliding sling pack & the too low hip pack - this is my sleek dream come true
