Precision

Admittedly, I've only tied a couple dozen flies on my new C&F Design vise. I've tied on a lot of vises over my 50+ years tying flies, and this is the most precise I've had my hands on. Everything about this vise just screams precision manufacturing and attention to detail. Favorite things about the vise so far, the magnet in the jaws to hold the hook while you adjust the jaws properly. Why did no one else think of that? The ergonomics of this vise are excellent. It feels like I've been tying on it for years, not days. My hands instinctively know where to go on the vise to perform different functions. I love this vise!
