Daiichi 1730 - Bent Shank Nymph Hook. Round bend, Down Eye, 1X Heavy Wire. This is a great stonefly or other nymphs that could have a more distinct "bend". Also, good for crab patterns. 25 pack.

Daiichi and Core 1730 hooks

Wanted to tie up some Pat,s rubber legs and thought I’d try these hooks out. Great to tie with and fish with. Only had one hook bend on a fish but it was a 23 inch carp on my 3 weight Euro rod. I’m very pleased with them and am ordering more. Yes can get these from a lot of places but there is only one (two) Fly Fish Food. Tight Lines

Excellent hook for tying many different flies

I purchased these hooks in size 10 and 12 for stone fly patterns! With weight added and everything they tend to hang up less as the business end of the hook ride up so less snags and tends to catch in the upper part of the mouth. Comes out pretty easy as well…
