I have always used Simms nippers and they are amazing. But they are also so expensive. All high end nippers do require some extra pressure applied. The doctor slick hand is nice and wide apart making it so ergonomic to squeeze. You will be pleasantly surprised how quick it nips a line with the least amount of effort. It's no rocket science, just a simple load fulcrum science applied increasing the leverage. Here's the best part, you don't have to believe me, go spend around 30 bucks and I'll not break the bank doing so. No other high end nippers also comes with extra blades. To me this is a no brainer. Nicely done.
Good lever arm strength. Not too big and bulky. Traditional nippers are flatter and easier to put on a bag or a lanyard however, these nippers can points for the replaceable, cutting surface and small size
First of all, yall made a high quality pair of nippers at an affordable price. I fish the Tx coast and so far they've held up. I love the fact that you can easily change the blades out.
Cuts great. Nice feel and functionality. With the screw on top of cutter is not the nipper of choice when you have to cut in tight like with a blood knot.
