Great streamer hook.

After Watching Cheech tie the baby fat minnow I can say without a doubt this is the best hook for small steamer patterns!!! Love this hook!!

I own my own tool & die shop. Was having trouble sticking and holding on to fish , I looked at the hook point under 50 X and was surprised to see the inside rocker tapered point was only about .150 long. At that point it was full diameter of the wire about .035 dia. If you will put this hook in your vice and rub a bodkin over this area you easily feel what I am talking about. Corrective action : I take a Small Swiss file and smooth out this spot making a longer & smother point. Having said all that I picked up some Bluegill Baby Fat Minnows from OFFS while fishing for Oscar fish near Miami this past spring and had no problems. I assume they were tied on the same hook, but didn’t check them. Oscars head for cover & pull very hard. We were using 2X tippet. I guess that helped set the hook deeper. It may be spring before I can do more field testing.
