The finish on Hanak's tippet rings is smoother than Rio's which seems like it should help protect tippet and leaders when cinching the connection knotd, for this alone 5 stars. The packaging is another item; the rings were loose in a plastic container so take some time at your tying bench, use your hemostat and fit them onto your empty Rio tippet ring snap swivel and you're in business. Price: very good!

They're fantastic. Give you the versatility of normal tippet rings while being smaller than the knot that connects them to the line. Sadly not all 2mm tippet rings are created equal!!!
