I used it for the first time at the flyfishing show last weekend in Seattle. It seems pretty versatile, and fairly well laid out. I don’t like to store my thread on my tool caddies, so don’t really need the acrylic rods sticking up. I will probably cut those off.
I’m going to have to play around with it a little bit more, maybe make a few modifications and get used to it.

Super bobbin & thread holder

With the help of this stand, I finally have a solution for my most often used threads. The nine rods hold the thread spools while the foamanizer holds the bobbins. I put the bobbins in front of the threads they are loaded with, so it is easy to see my inventory and to find different diameter threads.
