Umpqua jig bombs

I like using these jig bombs. They are heavier for their size and allow more useable hook shaft because of how they sit.

The beads are the bomb!

I’ve been tying my favorite bonefishing flies using the bead bombs on my favorite bonefishing flies (Gotcha, Crazy Charlies, Ververka Mantis Shrimp, etc) and enjoy the theoretic advantage of David Chouinard’s interesting “Surviving Entry” concept. I used them one year in the Bahamas bonefishing and had lots of success. Whether it was due to the flies, I can’t tell but enjoy trying innovative flies!
