Kumoto K2488 heavy emerger hook

Because it is mid winter I have not used this hook yet, however I ordered it because I wanted a stronger emerger hook for the larger trout I fish for. Testing the strength in my vice and by the looks of the gauge of the wire, I'm confident it should perform as hoped.

Not as advertised.

Price is great. Love the shape. Problem I have is with description. These are labeled heavy and said to have heavy wire however on the packaging they say 1X strong which in my opinion is not heavy. Was expecting at least 2X strong wire.
