Great vise, but the base that came with mine is not great

This vise is as awesome as it gets. I tie Size 1 Clousers and also size 18 nymphs on this thing. The thing that kind of sucks is that the base that came with mine does not have the raised cylindrical section where you use a hand screw to tighten the vise post to the base. Mine does not have a raise cylindrical section and you need to use allen wrench to take it apart to add various components to the vise post. I have a dozen buddies with this same vise and mine is the only one that has this issue. I typically don't take it apart very often so it is not a big deal but I thought it was worth mentioning. Not sure if it is this model only.
