Patagonia - Smoked Mussels

A source of protein, iron and vitamin B-12, these plump canned mussels are smoked over bay wood and packed in extra-virgin olive oil and mussel broth. Our mussels are from the waters of Galicia, Spain; Sagres, Portugal, and Chiloe, Chile, where they’re grown on long underwater ropes—their clustered shells providing a protective shelter for young fish and other marine life. Mussels filter the water as they feed on wild microplankton, Which could help improving water quality.
