Great buy and amazing quality. When it comes to deer body hair patches being used to tie sliders, tightly packed poppers, spun heads, and the Gallop’s style streamers quality is everything. I’ve ordered body hair patches in the past that would show up with serious enough quality issues that you just knew nobody ever even looked at what they were tanning, dying, or cutting before they just shoved it in a little plastic bag and said, “ah, good enough for government work”. I’ve seen it all but the most commonly noticed issue with buying deer hair patches that someone else is picking out for you, for me at least, is the unevenness of the hair itself with random length hairs being a mixture of short and thin summer coat and long and thick winter coats. Deer body hair patches like this is a nightmare to work with, just take it from me. Anyhow, I’ve gotten premium strips in the past but reserved them for those colors that I used most often on my personal or local water or those colors that were hard to find regularly online or inside a B&M shop, however I may change it up a bit due to the consistency and quality of premium strips. Now I wouldn’t necessarily go crazy and purchase one in every color, but if you don’t want to have to worry about the quality of the patch of hair that’s going to show up at your front door, this is the way to go. The long fiber length and even tips across each row of hair on the strip, the great color selection and richness/color fast dye used are all great reasons to purchase your most used colors at a minimum this way, but the price makes it a no brainer when you see the size of the strip as compared to a 2x2 or 2x3 patch of hair at close to $5 each. Can’t go wrong here and it’s worthy of serious consideration.
