Good for the money

It is definitely a entry level vise. The fit and finish are pretty common but ok the real problem is getting your hook in the grove it has to be just right or it just won’t hold your hook tight.I tie crappie jigs with #2&4 hooks so might do better with a smaller hook I don’t know my dr fish rotary vise is a lot better for basically the same money.I should have put that money on a higher end vise but with that said if you hold your mouth just right when putting in your hook it will hold it fine and a true rotary is better in my opinion
