I generally really like the tool and it does help hackling parachutes. I also bought the attachment clip. I tie on a Regal vice, and it does not seem to be the best fit for this tool. The attachment is at the far end of its adjustment range vertically, and I still have to tip the nose of my vice way down to get the hook low enough to use the clip. My guess is it would work better on other vices. I also wish the clip that holds the post material was a little wider. It’s difficult to grab all the post material even in the size 16 fly I was tying.
