I developed this fly to create a more aerodynamic pattern that doesn't catch a lot of wind when casting it on a Euro nymphing leader dry dropper rig. The bullet style head makes the fly much easier to cast with lighter rigs and the buoyancy is still sufficient to float heavier beads. The trout will still eat it as well.
