The Tiemco midge finisher is a compact whip finish tool that is perfect for finishing off small flies. At roughly half the size of a standard whip finish tool the midge version gives more accuracy and control when whip finishing on a smaller head. Perfect for finishing flies size 16 or smaller but we actually use it for flies of all sizes. Precision thread control!

Must Have Tool

Essential for really small files, where it saves the day, but I am using for all of my flies

wonderful tool!

really excels at wfinishing small flies/ i find it easier to use than my regular wfinisher on really any fly, even down to 6

Solid Whip Finisher

Couldn’t find the cheaper midge whip finisher so I ordered a better looking tool. Found the old one the day I got the new Tiemco model. The difference in strength and quality was evident with the first flies I tied.

Works great on small flies or flies with awkard/tight spaces like the down eye on a Chernobly style hook.
